Halo was born with a mysterious eye disease that rendered her visually impaired. She is a farmer’s daughter, a peasant girl, and is known for her iron will, loyalty to others, and outspokenness. Her horse is the wild mountaineer mare, Zidori.

Nikolag is an orphaned seafarer, known as a ‘gollet’. Captain Staghen found him wandering in the fields alone and gave him a place in the Guardians. He’s known for his vile and aggressive nature and his lust for women, drinking, and fighting.
