Author Jak Angelescu

Jak Angelescu, born Lindsay Hoffman in Port Huron, Michigan, is a musician and author. Her early life was marked by adventure, moving from Florida to Alaska, where her imagination flourished. After her family settled in Missouri, Jak faced challenges, including the loss of her sister in a car accident. She found solace in music and poetry, eventually becoming a guitarist and forming several bands. Jak's passion for music led her to Los Angeles, where she worked at a rehearsal studio, rubbed elbows with famous musicians, and joined a Judas Priest tribute band. Her experiences inspired her to write her debut novel, "A Promise Kept," which was influenced by her love of vampires, classical music, and her best friend, who became her muse. Jak is currently a guitarist for the heavy metal band Unknown, performs country songs locally, and resides in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a devout Methodist Christian, supports animal rescues, veteran and law enforcement benefits, and enjoys Italian culture. "A Promise Kept" is now available on Amazon and Amazon Kindle.
